The Do Not Disturb Sign is one of the most used the world over and they come in all shapes and sizes from the sublime to the ridiculous. Hotel rooms, offices,meeting rooms,lecture theatres,hospitals etc. etc.

You are in the bath relaxing after a hard day,partners and kids think they can just come in and out as they please, disturbing the ambiance you so diligently created, one false move, one wrong word and it’s all over. Place a do not disturb sign on the handle and you take control, they’ll stop, pause for thought and come back later.

Or, they’ll just burst in anyway completely ignoring what you set out to do for some major reason like not being able to find the remote or their Luke Skywalker figure. Rome wasn’t built in a day though…
